50km through Kansai
Tiana (from the US) and Paige (from the UK) have enjoyed volunteering in Kansai while living in Japan. We have loved our experiences bonding with children living in children’s homes in Kansai.
As we prepare to return to our homecountries, we hope the children we have met continue their enthusiasm for learning and interacting in English. We know first hand how important access to quality materials is in maintaining this motivation and want to rally together friends, family and people across the community of Kansai to come together to raise money for this great cause!
We’ll start the walk in Nagaokakyo in Kyoto and journey down to Kyobashi Osaka. Along the way, we’ll visit children’s homes as checkpoints. At the checkpoints you can take a breakand collect progress stamps.
If you’re with us at the finish line, you’ll receive a well-deserved, celebratory drink at the end! Let’s come together to walk for a great cause!
